Prinolithos Villas is a privately owned estate measuring 5000sqm and is comprised of two independent villas, each with its own private infinity swimming pool; Prinolithos (meaning 'kermes oak forest, rocky mountain, stone') and Armonia (meaning 'harmony').

Villa Prinolithos combines traditional architecture walls made by stone and wooden ceiling with modern and simple furnishing. Additional beauty, the small private forest of Prinos trees right next to the villa.
Villa Armonia enjoys a fresh and modern approach with clean cut lines, cool colors, contemporary furnishings and chic design.

Located between Gavalohori & Vamos village in the region of Apokoronas, about 25km east of Chania in NW Crete, these large villas are perched high on a hilltop overlooking the village of Gavalohori, the sea and the coast of Almyrida, while just a short drive from nearby beaches.

The tranquility of the mountainous landscape, sounds of birds and the magnificent sea view, all compliment the style and comfort offered by both villas. Prinolithos Villas are an ideal base from which to explore Crete from.

Our Standard

1. All kitchens include
a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, oven, extractor fan, microwave oven, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, bread bin, crockery and cutlery.
2. Welcome basket includes
coffee, tea, sugar, margarine/butter, fresh bread, feta cheese, Cretan olive oil, tomatoes, cucumber, seasonal fruit, mineral water, fruit juice, fresh milk, cake, crisps and biscuits.
3. Swimming pools
Each villa has its own private infinity swimming pool measuring 50 sqm. Extra care is taken to service the pools regularly, maintain correct PH levels and ensure the water is crystal clear and most importantly safe for you and your family to enjoy. For this reason, a serviceman will visit twice a week to maintain these at optimal levels.
4. Services upon special arrangement
Chauffeured mini-vans, private Cretan cooking lessons, home-made traditional Cretan and Greek dishes prepared especially for you by a local cook and delivered to your villa, child care/ baby-sitting, daily maid service, laundry service, pre-arrival grocery shopping service, restaurant reservations, hiking trips, sailing tours, excursions by organized company, and cultural visits with a qualified guide.
5. Taxi Transfers
A private taxi can be arranged (on request) for guests arriving at Chania/Heraklion airport/port or at Rethymno port. Please email us at info@villa-prinolithos.gr with your request and we will get back to you.
